The Herberger Institute School of Art is the leading institution for the instruction of art in metropolitan Phoenix and one of the top public art schools in the nation. With nationally ranked programs in photography, printmaking, ceramics and art education, faculty depth and diversity across all areas of practice and research, and the program’s location within a public research university offers a vibrant context in which to learn and grow. The School programs five galleries – the Harry Wood Gallery, The Northlight Gallery of Photographic Arts, Night Gallery, Step Gallery and Gallery 100 – which provide space dedicated to a range of exhibitions.
